30 un-lacquered wooden curved blocks. Grimm's does not use lacquer in order to preserve the natural feel of the wood (which is in line with their aim to design toys according to principles of Waldorf and Montessori education). Unlacquered blocks are also easier to build with as they are less likely to slip. Perfect for children 3 years and up (pose no choking risk, however, some of the blocks are very large/bulky, and may be too difficult for toddlers to handle).
